Why do hundreds of kids attend Awana
Clubs at Kenosha Bible Church every week? Awana is fun, and the
children know that they have a leader who cares for them! And of
course, they’re learning and growing while they’re
having fun.
Awana Club meetings are brimming
with life-enriching experiences for young people! Trained leaders
guide children through age-appropriate material and model the Christian
life for them. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them,
and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They
also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily
lives. In a world desperate for high standards of morality and
ethics, Awana uses the Bible to teach children to honor God and
their fellow human beings.
The goal of Awana Clubs is to reach
boys and girls for Christ and train them to serve Him. Churches
around the world are using Awana to reach out to the youth in their
communities. The Awana program is non-denominational and Bible-centered,
and the club meetings are open to all. Parents are welcome to visit
and observe at any time.

Club Meetings
For the school aged kids, four segments provide start-to-finish
adventure in every club meeting!
 |
Handbook
Time
Awana emphasizes memorization and understanding of key
Bible verses. The verses in the age-appropriate handbooks help
the clubbers to develop a Bible-based view of how to know and
serve God. At the end of the evening, awards are given to clubbers
who have reached specific milestones in their progress through
the handbooks.

 |
Large
Group Time
The whole age group gathers for singing and a Bible message, told on the kids’ level
in a high impact way that draws the kids in and focuses them on the Lord. |
 |
Small
Group Time
Each child is a part of a small group of about 6 children
and one leader. During small group time, the leader guides the
kids in how they can apply what they learned in the large group
Bible lesson to their lives, using interactive games and activities
that bring the kids in the group closer to each other and to
the Lord. |
 |
Game
Time
Every Awana Club meeting includes a high-energy Game
Time featuring age-appropriate individual and team competition,
where everyone participates. Kids around the world love Awana games! |
