Trygve
Landru grew up in West Orange, New Jersey. Before coming to
Kenosha Bible Church, he served Evangelical Free churches in
Canton, Illinois, West Seneca and Huntington Station, New York,
and Lakeland, Florida. He also served as New England District
Association Superintendent. He served Kenosha Bible Church
as Assistant Pastor from Sept 1987 until his retirement in
June 1996. In May 2000, he returned to KBC as Pastor of Senior
Ministries.
Pastor Tryg holds a B.A. from Bob Jones University with
a Bible major, and a B.D. from Trinity Seminary with a Pastor
major. He believes that an outreach in love and ministry
to our Senior Adults will encourage a unified force of fellowship,
evangelism and discipleship. His goals are to share himself
to the end that our Senior Adults are in pursuit of fellowship,
evangelism and discipleship bound together in the bonds of
love.
Pastor Tryg has been named an "Ambassador of Good Will" representing
Timber-lee Christian Center. He is married to Lillian and
has four grown children, Sandra, Lois, Andrea, and Paul,
and eleven grandchildren, Lynae, Nicholas, Daniel, Christina,
Rachel, Stephanie, Bryan, Kevin, Krista, Elise, and Jessica.
