The school lunch program provides the only meal some
children may eat each day, but they may not get lunch during the summer.
The Shalom Center helps fill that need by providing daily lunch for
more than 40 needy children plus serving a regular dinner meal. You
can help by donating non-perishable food items from the Shalom Center’s “wish list."
Just put these items into the shopping cart* in KBC’s east
foyer on Sundays. Each week, KBC will deliver the collected items
to the Shalom Center.
Click for information on serving at
the Shalom Center with KBC's
crew once a month.
Questions? Contact Beth Nowikowski (262-694‑4962). Thank you!
*The shopping cart was donated to KBC by Jon Ortiz, manager of
Save A Lot Grocery Store on 52nd Street in Kenosha. |
